How to Update Your Credit Card Processing Rate

Learn how to update your credit card processing fees if you’ve received a nonprofit discount from Stripe or PayPal.

Before You Begin

• Only registered nonprofit or charitable organizations are eligible for nonprofit payment processing discounts.
• If you believe you qualify for this discount but haven’t received it, you can contact Stripe or
  PayPal to apply for this discount.

Once Stripe or PayPal confirms your discounted fee, you’ll need to update your DoJiggy settings to reflect it. This will keep your reporting accurate. Your processing account is managed exclusively by Stripe or PayPal, so DoJiggy doesn’t know what your fees are unless you enter them.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the percentage you add here has nothing to do with what you are actually being charged or approved for by Stripe or PayPal. It will be used to ensure your reports accurately reflect what is being charged.

Update Credit Card Processing Fees

1. Go to Payment Processing in the left menu.
2. Scroll down and find “Enter your card processing rate”
3. Enter your discounted credit card processing fee
4. Click Save at the bottom of the page to apply these changes to your account.
