Learn how to connect an existing Stripe account to DoJiggy.io by re-linking or linking the email associated with the account. You will need the email address and password associated with your Stripe account to accomplish this task.
TROUBLESHOOTING ERROR: Click here if you get a Card descriptor statement error.
Link or re-link to Stripe
- Login to your DoJiggy account.
- From the main menu on the left under Settings, click on Payment Processing.
- Click the More options link
- Click on LINK A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT
- Accept the Switching message.
- The interface will change to this.
- Click the button, “Connect existing account”
- You will be taken to Stripe.com via a secure page.
- Sign in to your existing Stripe account and fill out any necessary information.
- After completing this, click “Return to DoJiggy.”
- Click SAVE at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
That’s it – you’re all done! All funds raised for your organization on DoJiggy.io will now automatically be sent to your bank account via Stripe.
Card descriptor statement – Troubleshooting
If you receive the error, “Card descriptor statement”
Scroll down a bit on the Payment Processing page and enter your organizations name where it says “Enter the text that will display on donors credit card statements.”
It appears to be filled in with your organizations name, but it is actually blank.
Fill in this text, click SAVE at the bottom of the page, then try the steps above again.
