How do I create preset pledge amounts for Athon and Crowdfunding donors?

Whether you are running an Athon fundraiser, or Crowdfunding with Peer-to-Peer you can create preset amounts that donors can choose from when pledging per-unit of activity or when making a one time donation.

This can help to eliminate any confusion your donors Campaign when trying to determine an appropriate amount much to pledge.

For Athon Campaigns

1. Go to Campaigns in the left menu.
2. If you have chosen list view, click on the Title of the Campaign. If you have chosen grid view, click on the Campaign image.
3. Click Campaign Setup*. 
4. Click the Athon page in the Timeline
5. Click Create an activity or Edit the activity that you would like to add preset amounts to.
6. Click More Options.
7. Look for the Customize pledge-per-unit options and Enable Create preset per-minute* pledge amounts for donors.
   
8. Click Add Preset and enter the amount.
9. Click Save. Add as many preset amounts as you like.
10. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

These pre-set amounts will show in the checkout process for donors to choose. Donors will also have the option to choose ‘other’ and enter a different amount.

For Crowdfunding Campaigns

1. Go to Campaigns in the left menu.
2. If you have chosen list view, click on the Title of the Campaign. If you have chosen grid view, click on the Campaign image.
3. Click Campaign Setup*. 
4. Click the Checkout page in the Timeline
5. Look for Create preset donation amounts for supporters to choose from, then check Enable preset donation amounts.
   
6. Enter the amount, then click Save.
7. Repeat as necessary.
8. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

These pre-set amounts will show in the checkout process for donors to choose. Donors will also have the option to choose ‘other’ and enter a different amount.

Donors do NOT have to choose to make a Monthly, or recurring donation to proceed.
