Sponsors fulfill a critical role in many successful fundraising campaigns. You may consider selling Sponsorships on your website to offset the costs of producing your event and boost fundraising proceeds.
There are two options for selling sponsorship packages to ticketed events (such as golf tournaments or galas):
- You can sell Sponsorships that include registrations by adding them as Registration Packages. This is done on the Ticketing page in setup. A common use case here is a golf tournament sponsorship package that includes a golf foursome.
- If Sponsorships do NOT include registrations, they can be sold as Store items. A common use case here are golf tournament items such as mulligans and hole sponsors.
Add Sponsorships that Include Registrations
Follow the instructions in this article to create a Ticket or Registration. How to Create Event Ticket Packages for Golf or Group Registrations.
If a Sponsorship only has one complementary registration, create it in the Add Registration* section.
If a Sponsorship contains two or more registrations, create that in the Add Package* section.
This is how it will be shown on the public website.
Add Sponsorships that Do Not Include Registrations
To add Sponsorship packages that do not include tickets or registrations, enable the Store option from the Basics page
Then add the Sponsorships as Sales items. Please review this article for details. Adding Items to a Sale fundraiser.
This is how they are displayed on the website.
This option can also be used for Sponsorships that include registrations, where an organizer will enter the team information for the sponsor or issue a promo code so that the sponsor can register their team at a later time.
*The Terminology may vary depending on your setup.
