If you’re selling items to raise funds for your cause, we have all the bells and whistles to help your organization succeed.
Sale fundraisers allow organizations to sell products to raise funds (like t-shirts, water bottles, cookie dough, etc.). When running your sale fundraiser, you have quite a few options to customize your donor’s Campaign.
How to add or edit sale items on your fundraising page
- Go to Campaigns in the left menu.
- If you have chosen a list view, click on the Title of the Campaign. If you have selected a grid view, click on the Campaign image.
- Click the Campaign Setup*.
- Click the ‘Sale’ card in the timeline at the top. To create a new item, click ‘CREATE AN ITEM.’ To edit an existing time, click the pencil icon on that item.
- Enter the information shown in the box below, selecting the options you want. You can…
- Limit the number of available items
- Limit the quantity that one person can purchase
- Add Variations like size or color
- Hide the item from the sale if necessary
- Click ‘Save’ when you are finished.
- Click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page.
Sell a limited quantity of items
Let’s say you have 100 t-shirts to sell – no more, no less. Once that 100th t-shirt is out the door, you don’t want donors to be able to purchase any more t-shirts if you don’t have anymore! Fortunately, with our platform, you can enter the total quantity you have available, and the system will only allow that many to be sold.
Once the item is sold out, it will appear on the page like this:
Limit the number of items a person can purchase
To make your sale fundraiser fair game for everyone, you might consider limiting the number of items a single person can purchase. That way, all your donors have an equal chance to participate! Let’s say you want to allow each donor to be able to buy two items.
In the system, you can easily set the item limit to “2,” and each person will only be able to buy 2 of that item. We know what you’re thinking, how does the system cut people off after buying two items?
DoJiggy can do this effectively by tracking the purchaser by their email address! If they try to purchase more of that item in a separate transaction, using the same email, the system will not allow them to buy more of the item since they met the maximum allowed. Magic!
Add variations for each item
When you’re running a sale Campaign, you may want to offer your donors the option to choose between different variations of a particular item. What do we mean by variations? Think of various sizes, colors, and/or styles. Our platform allows you to add in these types of variations for each of your sale items, and it’s super easy!

Hide items from the fundraising page
You’re probably thinking, why would I want to do that if I’m trying to sell items to raise money? Well, there are many reasons why an organizer might want to do this, such as:
- When items are sold out
- There are flash sales of specific items (you can hide/unhide easily)
- You add new items ahead of time and want to display them on a particular day in the future
- An item is no longer available
Note: Terminology on these buttons may be different according to the terminology that you’ve chosen for your Campaign.
