A domain name is a string of characters that identify a website. It is part of the website URL address just before the .com, .org, or .io.
By default, your organization’s DoJiggy account will use the base URL https://go.dojiggy.io for all of your Campaign and donation pages where ‘go’ is the subdomain and dojiggy is the domain.
Subdomain – You can replace the ‘go’ part of the URL with your organization name or a name of your choice.
Your URL would be similar to https://myorganization.dojiggy.io/funrun, where the /funrun is the link to your fundraising Campaign.
There is no cost when using a custom subdomain for your account.
Domain – If you do not want to use the .dojiggy.io domain name in the URL, you will need to purchase and maintain a custom domain.
A custom domain would be similar to https://give.myorganization.org/my-campaign or anything you’d like as long as the URL includes a subdomain. You must use a subdomain and can not use a base domain (e.g., “myorganization.org”) or www.
