Campaign URLs: We’ve reworked the way Campaign URLs work so that they are now set at the Organization-level. This means that different organizations are now able to have the same campaign URL (e.g., “/auction”) if they have a branded subdomain or domain. Currently, this would not be possible because URLs are Platform-level – meaning that once a Campaign chose a specific URL, that URL could not be used by any other Campaign or Organization in the platform.
For the most part, you don’t need to do anything as part of this change. All of your existing campaign URLs will still work.
The only situation where you could be affected by this change is if your Organization has enabled Branding (and therefore has set up a custom subdomain or domain) AND you have shared out the non-branded “original” domain to the Campaign with your donors.
If you have created and shared unbranded links with your donors, after today, Dec. 2nd, 2020, the unbranded links will no longer work for those Campaigns and you will need to start using exclusively the branded links, which can be found by opening your Campaign Page or Campaign Setup (the app always auto-redirects to their branded links).
