Learn how to keep your participants’ last name private on your website.
DoJiggy takes the privacy of donors, participants, and all individuals and organizations using our platform seriously. For this reason, we make it easy to keep participants’ last names hidden from public pages. Learn more about how you can enable this useful option for your fundraiser below.
If you’ve enabled peer to peer fundraising for your campaign, it’s easy to hide the last names of your participants to add an extra layer of security and privacy. This option is particularly useful for schools, organizations with student participants or fundraisers run among private groups, such as organizations with sensitive information or high-security levels.
Before you Begin
If Privacy is a top priority for your organization, you may want to consider removing your Campaign from Search Engine results. To help your Campaigns reach a wider donor base, DoJiggy makes all Campaigns searchable by default on Google and other search engines. However, we also realize that some organizations do not want their Campaigns to appear on search engines. Please review this help file: How Can I Remove my Campaign from Online Search Results?
