Adding registrations manually during an event, and Day of Event registrations and donations can be challenging. We have put together these suggestions to help make this task as easy as possible.
Registrations
Free Registrations
- Follow the instructions in this help article to Manually Add Participants or Teams
Paid Registrations
It is always best to assist a supporter using their own device for paid registrations. However, if that is not possible, there are two options.
Free Registration with Offline Donation – With this option the administrator of the event can add the participant from the dashboard, then add an offline donation in the amount of the registration to cover the expense.
- Follow the instructions in this help article to Manually Add Participants or Teams
- Add an Offline Donation to cover the cost of the registration – How to Add Outside Donations
Incognito or Private Window Registration – This option allows an assistant to manage the registration on a single laptop or mobile device from the Campaign Registration page.
The key here is to verify that the user is NOT already logged into DoJiggy before starting a new registration. Using an Incognito or Private Browsing Window will help prevent mix-ups with associating participants with a previously used email address.
New Chrome Incognito Window
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More and then New Incognito Window. Or use the shortcut keys:
- Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + n.
- Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n.
- A new window appears.
- Navigate to your Campaign Registration page and register entering the Participants information and email address.
New FireFox Private Window
There are two ways to open a new FireFox Private Window:
- Open a new Private Window from the Firefox menu
- Click the menu button and then click New Private Window.
- The Private Browsing home page will open in a new window.
- Navigate to your Campaign Registration page and register entering the Participants information and email address.
