Learn how to send or resend registration and team invitation emails as needed to A-Thon or Peer-to-Peer participants.
When participants are registered for your A-Thon or Peer-to-Peer Campaign, they automatically receive a registration email. This email includes a link to the participant’s personal Fundraising Page and instructions for accessing their Participant Dashboard. If you allow your participants to form teams, you or they can also send invitation emails to other participants to join a team.
If you need to resend one or more of these emails for any reason, you can do so easily.
How to resend
- Click on Campaigns in the left menu.
- If you have chosen list view, click on the Title of the Campaign. If you have chosen grid view, click on the Campaign Image.
- Click View Participants*.
Send to One Participant
- Search for the name of the participant.
- Hover over the name of the participant you want to send the email to, then, click the three dot menu on the right and choose Resend Registration Email.
- Verify the email address, then click Resend
Send to Multiple Participants
- If you wish to send to Multiple Participants, click the checkbox next to the names to choose a group by hand.
- If you wish to send to participants on the Screen, click 1 in the image below. Click the Select all records box next (2 below) to the search bar for ALL records.
- Click the ACTIONS button in the upper right.
- Click Resend Registration Email.
- Click Resend.
Resend Team Invitation Emails
- Select Campaigns from the left menu.
- If you have chosen a list view, click on the Campaign Title. If you have chosen a grid view, click on the Campaign Image.
- Select View Participant Invitations*
- Those who haven’t yet accepted the invitation to join the team will be listed as Invited under the Status column. If the Status column says Accepted, the participant has already accepted the invitation.
- Go to the row with the person you’re looking for, hover over it, and click on the three-dot icon that will appear on the far right. Then, select Resend Invite.
- Or, to resend invitations to all invitees, select RESEND TO ALL.
Check invitation status
- Scroll through the list, or use the Search box to find participants
- From this list, you will see the Checked in status = Yes or No.
Sample Registration Email
The email sent to the participant is in two sections.
The top section is customizable from the Peer-to-Peer page in the Campaign setup.
The second section is automatically generated and has a link to the participant fundraising page to share with potential donors, help information to customize their fundraising page, and a link to their Participant Dashboard where they can track their donations and thank donors. This section is not customizable.
Good To Know
- If you’re testing out your Campaign in Draft Mode, you won’t be able to send multiple emails at once. However, you can still test out these features by sending a registration or invitation email to yourself.
* Note: Terminology on these buttons may be different according to the terminology that you’ve chosen for your Campaign.
