Question
How can I show or hide the Call to Action buttons that are displayed on my website pages?
Answer
There are two Call to Action buttons, the Register Now, and Become a Sponsor relating to Registration Fees and Sponsorships respectively and cannot be used for other purposes. You can change the text or color of these buttons, but cannot redirect their path.
Hide the Call to Action button.
- Go to Website->Settings in the main menu
- Set Display Registration Button, or the Display Sponsorship Button = No
- Click the Update button to save your changes.
NOTE: To enable the Call to Action buttons, set the button option = Yes.
The Call to Action Buttons are enabled by default to show on your website and look like this.
If the event configuration only requires one button it would be centered on the page.
- The REGISTER NOW button will be displayed if either the Registration Fees* or the Registration & Product Sales pages* are enabled and Registration Fees are available.
- The BECOME A SPONSOR button will be displayed if there are Sponsorships available and will be directed to the Sponsorship Opportunities page* if enabled, or the Registration & Product Sales page*, Sponsorships section.
- The Call to Action buttons will only show if registration is open.
Change the Color or Text
- Go to Website->Settings in the main menu
- Add your custom button name in the Registration Button Text, or Sponsorship Button Text fields.
- To change the Color of the button, click the color pallet and choose the color of choice.
- Clicking the arrows next to the pallet name will toggle between RGB, HSL, and HEX color pallets.
- Click the Update button to save your changes.
NOTE: It may take up to 3 minutes for the changes to take place on the website.
