New Features
When redesigning Donation Pages, our philosophy was to provide donors with an easy-to-use interface without sacrificing flexibility and functionality. In addition to a clean interface, we’ve added new features to help organizations raise more funds. Here are the new features you’ll see.
Rich Donation Presets
Donation Presets have been redesigned to allow adding a Title, Image, and Description to each one. These rich presets allow organizers to showcase the impact each of their preset donation amounts will have on their mission, encouraging donors to give more since the organization’s impact is clearly communicated.
Title, Image, and Description are individual options that can be enabled for Presets. If the organizer still wants a simple Preset button, they can disable those features.
Monthly Donation Upsell
To help you raise more funds and convert supporters into recurring donors, we have added a new Recurring Donation Upsell feature to Donation Pages. When this feature is enabled, if a donor makes a one-time donation, they will be asked if they want to convert it to a recurring donation instead. This maximizes the donation by taking a percentage of the one-time donation and offering it as a recurring donation, as shown in the upsell. Organizers can customize the content during the upsell step to make a special appeal to donors.
Ability To Turn Donation Pages On/Off
To further increase the flexibility of Donation Page users, we allow them to turn their donation page off anytime. Then, when they’re ready to begin accepting donations again, they can just as quickly turn it back on.
