We require all new organizations to be verified, to eliminate fraudulent fundraising and keep your organization’s reputation secure. Learn what is required to get your organization verified so that you can start fundraising.
Getting your organization verified is quick and simple. We require a link to the organization’s main website, on which the person registering the organization is listed, OR a file or document showing your name tied to the organization. This documentation needs to be emailed to our sales team.
Here are some examples of accepted documentation:
- IRS Letter of Determination for US 501c3 organizations or CRA charity registration in Canada.
- EIN verification from the IRS.
- Any type of official document that contains your name and the organization’s name.
- A link to the organization’s website that has your name listed as an authorized representative.
- An email that comes from a work email address. The email address used must match the organization’s (website) domain.
- Another form of verification such as a scanned business card or official document that will help us verify your affiliation with the organization.
If these are not available, an email from a representative at the organization authorizing you to set up the account will also work. The email must come from an email address that matches the organization’s domain.
