Engage with your donors by sending emails and posting updates.
Use emails or updates to let your supporters know how close you are to reaching your fundraising goal, how the funds raised will impact the cause, and how they can help promote the Campaign. These types of updates ensure that your donors are engaged throughout the entire duration of the fundraiser.
DoJiggy helps you keep in touch with donors in two ways:
- Send emails
- Post updates to the Updates tab on your Campaign page
Post an Update
Updates are visible to anyone who visits your Campaign Page and goes to the Updates tab.
Any donors that have opted to receive updates will also get an email notification.
- Go to Campaigns in the left menu.
- If you have chosen list view, click on the Title of your Campaign. If you have chosen grid view, click on the Campaign image.
- Click on Manage Updates to open the Updates tab on your Campaign page.
- Click Create update. Enter the content for your update (you can include photos, videos, and more).
- Click Save to post the update to your Campaign page.
The update will be visible to anyone who visits your Campaign page. They can view any updates under the update tab. An email will also be sent to donors with a link to your update (if they have opted-in to receive updates).
How to send emails to donors
- Go to Campaigns in the left menu.
- If you have chosen list view, click on the Title of your Campaign. If you have chosen grid view, click on the Campaign image.
- Click Campaign Setup*.
- Click on View Donations* to open a list of all donations and donors on your Campaign.
- Click the Donors tab in the upper right to view your list of donors.
- Send to one or a few donors – Use the checkbox in the far left column to select the donor(s) you would like to email individually or limited to the page.
- Send to All Donors – Select all records as shown below number 2 to email ALL donors.
- Click SEND EMAIL to start composing your email message.
- Click Send when you’re ready.
Good To Know
- Emails are sent out in a queue, so if you’re contacting many donors, sending all emails may take a few minutes.
